I was just running around Tsumei last night with DarkEmerald. We were on our lowbies. I was just suggesting to her that we do the Emperor’s Blade’s quests, since I had noticed the “!” over his head the other time.
She was on her level 11 Necro, and I was on my level 15 Ranger. Yeah, those are the “lowbies”… considering that the max level is only 20, level 11 is already “more than halfway” to max level. Anyway we did the series pretty well, right up till the Last Stand.
We didn’t die. In fact we even managed to kill the Named (the target of the quest), but we had to clear out his minions before the quest could be marked as completed. We weren’t doing too badly, we had a couple of near-wipes but, thanks to my Ranger also being a Ritualist, I was able to rez people after I had killed off the mobs or completed a “tactical retreat”.
Anyway, we were slowly, but surely, clearing up the remaining minions, till I crashed out. Damn! Somehow, when I crashed out, DarkEmerald ran into problems too, and the quest, which was so close to being completed, is not incomplete. Guess we’d have to do the same thing again tonight if she’s going back onto her Necro char.
