Whaddya know?
In the space of one week, I got 2 new games – Armed Assault, and Stalker. Both are FPS games, and one of them, Stalker, is kinda like an RPG more than an FPS. Think of it as “Oblivion in a modern setting with guns”.
Man, I’m going to be really busy the next few weeks. Stalker looks nice. Graphics are something like Half Life 2 (which was really good back in 2004). Armed Assault uses its own graphics engine, and while it looks good too, it somehow makes my PC lag slightly. I have yet to find a good “balance” of details and effects coupled with acceptable framerate on Armed Assault yet though.
I think I might concentrate on Stalker first, throwing in a few rounds of Battlefield 2142 here and there 🙂
